As the London marathon grows nearer, the excellent team of fundraisers will be finalising their preparations, polishing off the last few training miles and packing their bags. I had the pleasure of running with them last year, and raising some much needed funds for the Hospital, and it was a tremendous experience.
Good luck to all, participants and supporters, and enjoy the race, particular congrats must go to the chief fundraising organiser, Bobby Hawkshaw, who works tirelessly to make sure it all runs like clockwork, i think he stops sleeping between now and the end of the marathon!
and if you see them waving a bucket, give generously!
